FishHawk Highlights

This blog is designed and maintained to give you some basics about FishHawk and FishHawk real estate. I think FishHawk is a beautiful community and I am proud to call it home.

One of the main attractions that FishHawk has to offer is its beautiful Parks and Trails. FishHawk was named one of the first Green communities in Hillsborough County. FishHawk boasts over 25 miles of trails that wind throughout the FishHawk community. A lot of these trails are shaded to make the perfect walking trails in the summer. The way the community is designed there is a park or open space within a quarter mile of each home.

One of the favorite spots in FishHawk Ranch is Park Square. It is a great gathering spot. It has some shops, a pizza place, a Cherry’s, Catch 23, YMCA Express and much more. The 2 acre park features dancing fountains, an outdoor stage for live music and rest rooms. This is a wet zone and is a great spot to spend time with family and friends.

Another landmark of FishHawk Ranch is the Aquatic Club. This is the feature pool in the FishHawk community. There is a lap pool with a pool volleyball net and a beach style entry lagoon pool with water slide. There is a small playground, fitness center and clubhouse.

This brings us to the Osprey Club. It features a heated pool and children's splash park, lighted tennis and basketball courts, fitness room, gathering room and movie theater. Across the street is the skate park.
As the FishHawk area has grown new stages are being added. The Starling area has brand new lighted tennis courts and the Circa FishHawk is in the process of being built out.

During the real estate downturn the FishHawk real estate values held up pretty well compared to some of the other surrounding areas. The real estate in FishHawk always seems to be in high demand.

There are a lot of great areas to live in Hillsborough County. Personally I think FishHawk is a great area and one I choose to call home.
